Film producer Joel Silver chopped the price on his 1930s Malibu beach house to $52 million, the Los Angeles Times reported. He initially listed it at $57.5 million last year.
The Pacific Coast Highway home spans nearly three-quarters of an acre. It has seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a detached guest house, swimming pool, spa and tennis court.
Silver and his wife Karyn acquired the property in 2003 for $14.4 million, records show.
Judy Feder of Hilton and Hyland has the listing.
Silver is responsible for the “Matrix” trilogy, the first two “Die Hard” films and the “Lethal Weapon” franchise. He also owns a 22,000-square-foot mansion in Brentwood. [LAT] – Natalie Hoberman
