Tyler Perry sure hopes so. The Hollywood actor-director is seeking to sell his Beverly Hills Post Office estate for nearly $17 million, only six months after purchasing. He bought the property from billionaire Alfred E. Mann last year for $14.5 million. It had sat on the market at $29.95 million for over a year prior. Spanning 17,245 square feet, the residence includes 10 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, five fireplaces, a tennis court, swimming pool and koi pond, Variety reported.

Farther west, film editors Angus Wall and Linda Carlson have dropped roots in the Pacific Palisades. The couple paid $6.5 million for a cinematic Mid-century modern home that overlooks the ocean. The 2,800-square-foot home includes four bedrooms and four bathrooms, the Los Angeles Times reported. Wall edited “The Social Network” and “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo,” while Carson is the managing director of the family-owned media production company Rock Paper Scissors.

Former supermodel Rachel Hunter is hoping for a second go-around with her Hollywood Hills West home. The model, who’s appeared on the covers of Vogue, Elle and the film “Benchwarmers,” listed her 5,000-square-foot home for $4.5 million, approximately $500,000 less than its initial asking. Five bedrooms and five bathrooms are included inside the two-story residence, the Los Angeles Times reported. Hunter purchased the place for $2.43 million in 2004.

For architecture buffs, the first Frank Lloyd Wright-designed house ever built hit the market this week at $1.35 million. The Prairie style home was built in 1921, and includes three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Known as the Weber House for the owner, William Weber, founder of Chicago-based Weber Iron Works, the Wilshire Park home features all original built-in desks and hardwood floors.
