Apparently, no one’s keeping up with the Kardashians in Studio City. Or not enough at least, to want their fake home.
The sprawling house, used as the exterior shot for the Kardashian family reality show, is back on the market at the same $7.8 million price tag, The Real Deal has learned. This marks at least the 19th time the property has been relisted since 2007, according to a Redfin analysis.
It is being listed with Kardashian’s favorite broker, Tomer Fridman of Compass this time around. Fridman is sharing the listing with Dana Olmes and Jeff Biebuyck, also of Compass. Brandon Assanti of Rodeo Realty previously had the listing, since October.
“We just want to bring a little bit of a different spin and exposure to it from some overseas buyers that we think it would be a good fit,” Fridman said.
The 7,800-square-foot, seven-bedroom, ornate Italian Mediterranean residence sits on a 38,000-square-foot lot in the Fryman Estates neighborhood in the Valley. It includes nine bathrooms, swimming pool with spa, cascading waterfall and wine cellar.
Its owner, Danny Gerardi, paid $5.23 million for the home in September 2005, property records show.
Though it has served as the exterior shot for the reality show, the Kardashian family never lived there. It has also been used in other shows, including: “Chelsea Lately,” “True Blood,” “American Horror Story,” “Chuck,” and even a Victoria’s Secret commercial. The appearances earned Gerardi as much as $36,000 in a day, he previously told TRD.
If sold, it would add another property to Fridman’s Kardashian-related portfolio. The broker, formerly of Ewing & Associates — a division of Sotheby’s International Realty — brokered the $20 million sale of a Hidden Hills home to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West in 2014. He has also brokered the sale of Justin Bieber’s Calabasas home to Khloe Kardashian that same year, for $7.2 million.
