Developer plans to convert Sherman Oaks theater to office building

Steven and Susan Gryczman also planning to add 42K sf to complex: records

A movie theater in Sherman Oaks could soon transform into an office building.

Owners Steven and Susan Gryczman are planning to convert the Sherman Oaks Pacific Theatre, located at 14424 West Milbank Street, into an office building with a 42,000-square-foot addition, according to property records recorded Wednesday.

The Gryczmans could not immediately be reached for comment.

The theater is located on a lot spanning just over 174,000 square feet that also includes a strip mall, and it appears that the strip mall will be included in the conversion as well.

The Los Angeles neighborhood is a popular spot for celebrities, although many have recently put their homes on the market, including game show host Wayne Brady, actor Michael Chiklis and Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig.
