The former home of the late Hollywood star Elizabeth Taylor on the market for just under $16 million, the first time the property has been listed in 21 years.
Marvin Gross, a retired attorney, is selling the property, Mansion Global reported. He purchased it for $2 million in 1997, records show.
The estate includes six bedrooms and seven bathrooms within 7,700 square feet of living space. Amenities include an art studio, library and sauna. A swimming pool and outdoor courtyard complete the outside.
Taylor lived in the home with her second husband, Michael Wilding, from 1954 until 1957. It was recently renovated by Budd Holden, an architect whose client list includes Barbra Streisand.
Joyce Rey of Coldwell Banker Global Luxury has the listing.
Taylor, who died in 2011, starred in numerous movies, among them “Father of the Bride,” “A Place in the Sun” and “Suddenly, Last Summer.” [MG] — Natalie Hoberman
