The tally for Los Angeles County’s five priciest residential listings of the week was 70 percent lower than the previous week’s crop. It coincided with a brush fire that burned more than 400 acres on the Westside, prompting evacuation orders for about 10,000 homes, and putting luxury homeowners on edge.
Just one new listing for the week came with a price tag over $10 million, although several higher-priced properties had price cuts.
The top listings of the week totaled $38.7 million, far below the $128 million total from the week before. That was boosted by two big listings in Brentwood and Beverly Hills.
The data and information was compiled from the Multiple Listing Service and Redfin from Oct. 29-Nov. 4.
