Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are proven luxury real estate buyers and sellers in Los Angeles, but Michelle Pfeiffer and David E. Kelley may be catching up.
Most recently, the Hollywood actress and her TV producer husband sold a Pacific Palisades home for $9.1 million to Houston Astros owner Jim Crane, according to Variety. The 3,000-square-foot home has four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. Pfeiffer and Kelley paid $8.15 million for the home for three years ago.
The couple also has another Pacific Palisades home on the market, for $8.35 million. They listed the 2,900-square-foot, four-bedroom home in November, a little over a year after buying it for $7.7 million.
But the couple’s residential real estate portfolio extends beyond L.A. In late December, they sold their Silicon Valley ranch-style compound in Woodside for $22 million, according to Variety. The 6,300-square-foot Mediterranean-style home was originally listed in 2018 for $29.5 million.
North of the border, Pfeiffer and Kelley listed their 340-acre estate in British Columbia for $28.8 million in October 2017, according to the Vancouver Courier. That 11-bedroom, eight-bathroom home, which comes complete with a private lake, appears to still be on the market. [Variety] — Tina Daunt
