East End Capital has unveiled the look of its proposed 410,000-square-foot studio campus in Glendale.

The New York-based developer has depicted the six-story East End Studios San Fernando Campus in a draft environmental study for 5426 San Fernando Road, Urbanize Los Angeles reported.

The 9-acre project south of the 134 freeway, reported by The Real Deal in February of last year, would replace warehouses, parking lots and loading areas.

Plans call for three buildings to include 10 soundstages, plus 165,000 square feet of offices and auxiliary services. A parking garage and scattered lots would serve 530 cars.

The San Fernando Campus, designed by San Francisco-based Gensler, includes a silvery white building with large vertical windows, inset balconies and what appear to be landscaped terraces at one end, according to renderings.

Pending approvals, East End Capital expects to build the studio complex in 18 months, with completion in summer 2025. That schedule assumes a groundbreaking late this year.

The Glendale campus is the second-largest facility which East End Capital has in the works for Los Angeles.

In the Arts District, the New York-based firm has proposed a $1 billion studio project with 720,000 square feet of soundstages (16), offices and support facilities at 1338 East 6th and 1321 Wholesale streets. Another 237,000-square-foot production studio is proposed for 2233 Jesse Street, in Boyle Heights.

Other East End projects include a smaller 72,000-square-foot studio complex now under construction at 1239 South Glendale Avenue in Glendale.
