Chicago Bulls All-Star Zach LaVine is pulling up on a $34 million estate in Newport Beach.

LaVine has been revealed as the mystery buyer of the 11,200-square-foot mansion at 1 Shoreridge in Newport Coast, Dirt.com reported.

The two-story Tuscan-style villa was initially listed for $40 million back in March. LaVine bought it a month later after a deal close to the asking price fell through.

The sellers were Rob and Ami Douk, who bought the 0.8-acre property in 2021 for $14.7 million, then gave it a thorough makeover.

The six bedroom, eight-bathroom home, built in 2010, ranks as the most expensive estate sold in gated Pelican Crest, home to Vanessa Bryant and Hot Pockets inventor Paul Merage.

The white mansion with its red-tile roof sits behind gates at the end of a cul-de-sac on a pie-shaped lot with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean through fold-away glass doors.

The Orange County estate includes a state-of-the-art gym, an infrared sauna, wine cellar, games room, golf simulator, gourmet kitchen with two marble-topped islands and an “Yves Saint Laurent-themed” walk-in closet in the master bedroom, with a retractable TV in the ceiling according to the listing.

The backyard has numerous pools and water features overlooking the ocean.

Broker Abe Lim of Circa Properties and Paul Daftarian of Luxe Real Estate held the listing, with the latter also representing the buyer.

LaVine, with a $215 million contract with the Bulls, just sold his first Newport Coast house, a similar-but-smaller estate at 36 South Sur in nearby Crystal Cove. The 28-year-old Seattle native has also put his suburban Washington state home on the market, according to Dirt.

Homes in Newport Coast, at the south end of Newport Beach, now have price tags similar to Bel-Air and Malibu. Last month, an 11,000-square-foot home sought $55 million, among OC’s most expensive listings.  Similar homes are now listed from $59 million to $70 million.
