Tomer Fridman, Sally Forster Jones take sales desk at Westwood condos

Beverly West development has three recently finished penthouses priced as high as $29M

The task of selling new condos at Beverly West in Westwood have passed to top agents Tomer Fridman and Sally Forster Jones of Compass, who will co-list the units with Amir Ensani.

Currently, about 11 residences are available at Beverly West, owned by Emaar Properties PJSC, headquartered in the United Arab Emirates. For about the last year, the development at 1200 Club View Drive handled sales in-house. 

Unit prices will range from $2.75 million to $28.9 million, Jones and Fridman confirmed to The Real Deal. The higher range for the penthouses might exceed the priciest condo sale of 2023, which remains music star Rihanna’s purchase of the penthouse at The Century for $21 million in April. 

Beverly West made real estate headlines in 2022 when another music star, The Weeknd, sold his penthouse at the property for $19 million, about $2 million less than what he bought it for in 2019.

Jones, Fridman and Ensani, who started working with The Fridman Group International in November, will specifically have the responsibility for selling Beverly West’s last three penthouses, as well as eight other residences in the 22-story building overlooking the Los Angeles Country Club.

While the Westwood building has stood for more than a decade, construction was not complete for the penthouses on the 20th, 21st and 22nd floors until recently. “They were like empty shells,” Fridman said. The penthouses span more than 8,500 square feet, representing an entire floor of the building. 

The penthouses come with a private elevator for each unit. The building also offers amenities such as a concierge, 24-hour security and pool, as well as a town car owned by the building which can be used by residents, Jones said.

Jones and Fridman also represent sales for the ultraluxe condo development The Rosewood Residences. They started working with the hotel-branded residence in Beverly Hills in March 2023. 

The brokerage with the brightest rising star for LA condos could be The Agency. In 2023, it took over sales duties at 8899 Beverly and The Pendry Residences West Hollywood. The Agency also started working with Park Elm at Century Plaza this year, where it co-lists with Next Century Realty and Savills. The firm took the reins of sales at Four Seasons Private Residences Los Angeles in 2022.
