Founder, Chief Executive Officer, Forster Jones International

Sally Forster Jones had a brief stint as an elementary school teacher, but real estate turned out to be her true calling. The Brooklyn College psychology major got her start in real estate as a flipper, borrowing money from her parents for her first project and her business took off from there.

She clocked 16 years with Coldwell Banker Realty, serving as estates director, commercial properties consultant and broker. She moved on to John Aaroe Group in 2014 to be president of Aaroe International Luxury Properties in Beverly Hills. Three years later it was on to Pacific Union to take on the role of luxury estates president before joining Compass in 2018.

Career sales for Forster Jones International are now in excess of $11.5 billion, with representation that includes the Rosewood Residences Beverly Hills and Beverly West, the latter of which is now sold out. In 2024 Forster Jones merged her team with that of Tomer Fridman to create a mega group with $25 billion in career sales and aspirations to expand into multiple luxury markets. Not long after the announcement, the group made good on its ambitions by merging with Straser Silicon Valley at Compass. Plans were cut short after Fridman left the brokerage later that same year. However, Forster Jones hasn’t lost steam. Her group alone ranked seventh in Los Angeles County among agents and teams in TRD’s 2025 ranking, with 86 deals amounting to $508.9 million.
