Bella Thorne pockets $600K with sale of Topanga Canyon estate

The “Shake It Up” actress bought the property in 2019 for $3.3M

“Shake It Up” Star Bella Thorne Sells Topanga Estate for $3.9M

Bella Thorne didn’t have to wait too long to unload her Topanga Canyon home.

She found a buyer for her former pad at 1650 Luse Tank Road, with the deal officially closing on Tuesday for $3.9 million, or $512 per square foot.

The actress tapped The Oppenheim Group’s Jason Oppenheim and Erin Montgomery to list the property in late June for just under $4 million.

PLF Real Estate Solutions’ Mike Ramirez represented the buyer. A record of the deal has not yet been recorded with the Los Angeles County recorder, leaving details of the buyer unknown at this time. Ramirez, reached Wednesday afternoon, was not immediately able to share client details.

The buyer nabbed a slight discount from the original list price, while Thorne walks away with about $600,000 more than what she paid for the home in 2019.

Thorne’s breakout role was playing CeCe Jones on the Disney Channel series “Shake It Up.” Since then, she’s starred in “Famous in Love,” “Blended,” “The Duff” and “Amityville: The Awakening.”

The Topanga property sits on an expansive 10-acre lot with the living space totaling about 7,600 square feet, with 360-degree views of the city, mountains and ocean.

A gated, private road takes visitors up to the estate, where there’s a roundabout and three-car garage. Outdoors, there’s a pool, waterfall and BBQ area for entertaining.

The property is split between a 6,679-square-foot main house and a 945-square-foot guest house. Highlights of the main home include five ensuite bedrooms, arched windows, French doors and hardwood floors.

The detached guest house has its own two-car garage, living room and ensuite bedroom.

Thorne added some of her own personal design elements to the property, including a floral installation wrapping the stairs of the main home’s foyer. The installation was created by florist Kristen Alpaugh and was part of the deal.

The median sale price of a home in Topanga, which is an unincorporated part of Los Angeles County, is $1.6 million, according to Redfin data from August. That’s down 20 percent year over year. Homes available for sale typically sell in a little over 90 days, which is up from 60 in 2024, per the Redfin data.
