Steve Wynn cuts price once again on Beverly Hills mansion

$65M ask a far tumble from $135M in 2020

Famed hotelier Steve Wynn continues to drop the price on his Beverly Hills mansion.

The Wynn Resorts founder slashed the list price of his home at 1210 Benedict Canyon Drive to $65 million, Mansion Global reported. It now returns to a previous asking price from a year ago, still higher than the $48.7 million Wynn paid for it in 2015.

Wynn first started shopping the property around off-market in 2020 for $135 million, officially listed it in 2021 for $115 million and repeatedly lowered the price in the years since, getting down to $65 million last year and returning to market earlier this year for $75 million before now reverting back to last year’s listing price. The current listing price marks a more than 50 percent reduction from its original 2020 figure.

The property spans roughly 27,000 square feet on a 2.7-acre compound. Longtime Wynn Resorts collaborator Roger Thomas designed the interiors of the mansion, part of a full renovation of the property that included landscape work from designer Robert Truskowski.

The main house boasts 11 bedrooms, including four ensuite guest rooms, a lanai suite with its own veranda, and separate living space for staff and security. Inside, there is a wellness suite, a private cinema, a wine-tasting room and a great room featuring retractable glass walls with views of the city. Outside, residents and guests have access to a tennis court complete with an air-conditioned viewing pavilion, a pool house and a garage and carport space capable of holding 26 vehicles.

In 2022, Wynn listed five of his properties from coast to coast for a combined $300 million. That included the previous listing of the Beverly Hills estate as well as his Central Park South duplex in New York City for $90 million; two abodes in Sun Valley, Idaho for $27 million; and a Palm Beach property for $78.5 million. The Palm Beach home sold for $66 million, and he followed it up in the area with a $12.9 million waterfront teardown purchase in West Palm Beach last December.
