Coldwell Banker Realty’s Jade Mills and Joyce Rey nabbed another pricey Bird Streets listing that’s among Los Angeles’s most expensive homes on the market.
The duo is marketing the Paul McClean-designed home at 9016 Thrasher Avenue for $82 million, nearly $5,395 per square foot.
It’s the eighth priciest on-market listing in the city and the Bird Streets neighborhood’s second most expensive home up for sale after music producer Alex Da Kid’s home at 9126 Cordell Drive, according to Zillow records. The Cordell Drive property is asking $85 million, or $3,557 per square foot for the nearly 24,000-square-foot residence.
The neighborhood is known for its homes with views, highly private lots and a gaggle of past and present celebrity residents that include Leonardo DiCaprio, Keanu Reeves and the late Matthew Perry.
Completed in 2023, the Thrasher Avenue listing was built by Los Angeles custom developer Dugally Oberfeld and was not done on spec, according to a spokesperson for the agents. It spans over 15,000 square feet and sits behind gates with room for six cars in the subterranean garage. Views of the Pacific Ocean and Downtown Los Angeles are big features, in addition to amenities such as smart home technology, a floating staircase, elevator, spa, theater and massage room.
Records show the property last traded in 2017 for $17 million, or $1,115 per square foot, to a limited liability company called Deuce Place.
Just about a minute’s walk away from the residence is 9006 Thrasher Avenue, which Rey and Mills are also marketing. That’s listed at $72.5 million, or $5,410 per square foot, for the 13,000-square-foot contemporary.
It’s also a Paul McClean-designed home built by Dugally Oberfeld in 2023 and was listed by Rey and Mills last year.
