Equity Residential topped out construction at its 14-story rental property. Architecture firm Gerner, Kronick & Valcarcel designed the building, which is adjacent to the High Line. The project was picked up a year ago by Equity’s chairman, Sam Zell, after construction stalled at the site. Residences will include studios and one-, two- and three-bedrooms.

Construction is complete at the 10-unit, five-story condo building, which has also received its certificate of occupancy. Residences range in size from an 820-square-foot one-bedroom to a 1,228-square-foot two-bedroom, and in price from $569,000 to $799,000. Some residences open to terraces and patios, and the development features a 1,000-square-foot common rooftop garden. Buyers will benefit from a 25-year 421-a tax abatement.
