A building at 180 Orchard Street on the Lower East Side is on the market for $48 million. The site has been approved for conversion into a hotel of up to 22 stories. The electric, plumbing and sewer systems are already in place, and the building boasts two underground parking lots. The 17,600-square-foot property includes 13,836 square feet of retail space, with 23-foot ceilings, 128 feet of frontage on Orchard Street and 30 feet of frontage on Ludlow Street.
