New building on LES for sale

A building at 180 Orchard Street on the Lower East Side is on the market for $48 million. The site has been approved for conversion into a hotel of up to 22 stories. The electric, plumbing and sewer systems are already in place, and the building boasts two underground parking lots. The 17,600-square-foot property includes 13,836 square feet of retail space, with 23-foot ceilings, 128 feet of frontage on Orchard Street and 30 feet of frontage on Ludlow Street. Block-through apartment building for sale in Harlem

A 91-unit multifamily property at 229-237 Central Park North in Harlem is on the market for $27.9 million. The 86,124-square-foot building was built in 1915 and renovated in 1982. The property runs from Central Park North to West 111th Street between Frederick Douglass Boulevard and Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard. It’s comprised of two connected, six-story buildings, separated by a central courtyard. Apartment building in Queens for sale

A six-story, 87-unit apartment building at 36-20 Bowne Street in Flushing is on the market for $13.9 million. The 90,059-square-foot property consists of 19 studios, 50 one-bedrooms, 17 two-bedrooms and a single three-bedroom. The building, built in 1940, is located on the west side of Bowne Street between Northern Boulevard and 37th Avenue. It’s centrally located, near Herald Square, Grand Central Terminal, Penn Station and the Empire State Building. The building can be delivered vacant if desired, or with existing tenants in place. A mixed-use, four-story commercial and residential building is listed for $12 million at 862 Broadway between East 17th and 18th streets in Union Square. A store on the first floor is occupied by the GEOX footwear company.
