New building on LES for sale

A building at 180 Orchard Street on the Lower East Side is on the market for $48 million. The site has been approved for conversion into a hotel of up to 22 stories. The electric, plumbing and sewer systems are already in place, and the building boasts two underground parking lots. The 17,600-square-foot property includes 13,836 square feet of retail space, with 23-foot ceilings, 128 feet of frontage on Orchard Street and 30 feet of frontage on Ludlow Street. Other attractions nearby include the Rivington hotel and Whole Foods. Daniel Barcelowsky and Josh Frank of Misrahi Realty are the listing agents.

Block-through apartment building for sale in Harlem

A 91-unit multifamily property at 229-237 Central Park North in Harlem is on the market for $27.9 million. The 86,124-square-foot building was built in 1915 and renovated in 1982. The property runs from Central Park North to West 111th Street between Frederick Douglass Boulevard and Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard. It’s comprised of two connected, six-story buildings, separated by a central courtyard. The property consists of one studio, 38 one-bedrooms, 34 two-bedrooms and 18 three-bedrooms totaling approximately 68,450 rentable square feet. Apartment building in Queens for sale

A six-story, 87-unit apartment building at 36-20 Bowne Street in Flushing is on the market for $13.9 million. The 90,059-square-foot property consists of 19 studios, 50 one-bedrooms, 17 two-bedrooms and a single three-bedroom. The building, built in 1940, is located on the west side of Bowne Street between Northern Boulevard and 37th Avenue. Murray Hill office building hits market

A Murray Hill office building at 160 Madison Avenue, between 32nd and 33rd streets, is on the market for $13.5 million. The seven-story building was built in 1930 and renovated in 1987. It consists of seven commercial co-op units. Built with 14,427 square feet of space above grade, the property also has an additional 9,023 square feet of air rights. It’s centrally located, near Herald Square, Grand Central Terminal, Penn Station and the Empire State Building. The building can be delivered vacant if desired, or with existing tenants in place. A mixed-use, four-story commercial and residential building is listed for $12 million at 862 Broadway between East 17th and 18th streets in Union Square. Built in 1900 and completely renovated in 2004, the 5,100-square-foot walk-up building has 11,682 square feet of additional air rights, plus a basement. A store on the first floor is occupied by the GEOX footwear company. Retail space on the second floor is occupied by the Boston-based Prana yoga, and there are residential loft apartments on the third and fourth floors. There is new electrical wiring, sprinklers, plumbing and HVAC systems. Located in the historic Flatiron district, the front of the property is the future site of a pedestrian plaza.
