Herrera Group moves from Elliman to BHS

Cris Herrera and Maura Jarach joined Brown Harris Stevens
The Herrera Group, headed by Cris Herrera and Maura Jarach, has joined the Upper West Side office of Brown Harris Stevens for residential sales. The group, previously with Prudential Douglas Elliman, was named among the top 3 percent best-performing brokerage groups in the country within Prudential Douglas Elliman, according to a press release sent from BHS last month.

Herrera will serve as senior vice president at the branch, while Jarach has been named vice president and director. The two are the Herrera Group’s founding members.

“We felt it was time for a change and we’ve begun the New Year with a fresh start,” the statement read. “At BHS, we believe we’ll not only continue to grow our business but to really thrive.”

Despite the brokerage-jumping, the Herrera Group will be staying in its safe zone, geographically speaking: Its new BHS office is located just a few blocks south of Elliman’s Upper West Side spot on Broadway.
