Wynwood named café district

Miami city commissioners have approved the designation of Wynwood as a café district, loosening liquor license rules, encouraging the establishment of more bars and restaurants. Prior to the neighborhood’s designation, city law prevented establishments within 1,000 feet of each other from receiving permits to serve liquor.
