State Rep. Maria Sachs is organizing a group of consultants and brokers to work with homeowners facing foreclosure. The volunteer group is a spin-off of the Florida Home Ownership Promotes the Economy Task Force that Governor Charlie Crist started in February. Since Sachs’ group started in July, 700 people in Palm Beach have already sought its assistance.
