No South Florida Circuit City stores will close

Circuit City plans to close 155 stores nationwide, but none of the company’s South Florida stories will close. Seven stores will close in other parts of the state – two in Jacksonville, one in Naples, one in Orlando, one in Panama City, one in Tallahassee, and one in Vero Beach. The company also plans to renegotiate leases and scale back future store openings to save money.
