The state insurance regulator has suspended the Palm Beach Windstorm
Self Insurance Trust a second time, citing questionable financial
stability. Tom Zutell, deputy communications director at the Office of
Insurance Regulation, said the organization, which is limited to
coverage of high-rise, steel-and-concrete condominiums and cooperatives
valued at more than $10 million and located east of Interstate 95,
failed to meet regulatory requirements imposed after an earlier
suspension.
