Builders push stimulus in DC

About 80 members of the National Association of Home Builders sought
meetings with their congressmen to advocate a $150 billion rescue plan
for the housing market. Jerry Howard, chief executive of the home
builders’ trade group, said builders want a package of subsidies that
would bring mortgage rates to just under 3 percent for the first half
of this year.
