Fort Lauderdale hotel warned about sales pitch

A flier for the W Fort Lauderdale Hotel and Residences calls the
development “Home Sweet Home.” But the city has warned developer DYL
Group that the advertisement could violate the hotel’s site plan, since
year-round homes are not allowed on that part of the beach. The hotel,
at 3101 Bayshore Drive, was approved in 2002.
