Developer Trammell Crow dies

Developer Trammell Crow, founder of Trammell Crow Company and the Wyndham Hotel Company, died last night, according to a statement from company CEO Robert Sulentic. The Trammell Crow Company became a subsidiary of CB Richard Ellis in 2006. Crow was born in Dallas in 1914 and purchased his first warehouse in 1948. He developed commercial buildings, hotels, medical facilities, museums, parks and other buildings, according to the statement. “More than just a dynamic businessman and master builder, he was also a devoted family man, renowned world traveler and art collector, charismatic civic leader and, to many of us, a personal friend,” Sulentic wrote.
