Singer/songwriter and Miami resident Bill Zucker, author of the popular 1999 single, “Millennium,” has released a song parodying the Troubled Asset Relief Program bailout, “The TARP Song.” The song first played on CNBC’s Power Lunch program, where it was originally supposed to play once but was repeated eight times due to viewers’ responses, according to a press release from Mass Media Distribution, a public relations company. TARP is the $700 billion program that allows the government to purchase troubled assets.
