Greenberg Traurig CEO to step down

Cesar Alvarez will step down as CEO of influential Miami-based law
firm Greenberg Traurig next January. The firm’s president, Richard
Rosenbaum, will take over the job. Greenberg has 1,800 lawyers, and
Alvarez has been with the firm since 1973. He’s been CEO for 12 years and will become executive chairman. Greenberg is involved with many
commercial dealings in the region, including the real estate and
construction industries.
