Crist says shop around in wake of State Farm pullout

State Farm’s departure from Florida leaves 1.2 million policy holders searching for new coverage, and Gov. Charlie Crist said yesterday homeowners should turn to the Internet to find relief. He urged impacted policyholders to shop online for affordable rates, and added that since 2007, approximately 40 new insurance companies now provide competitive options for Florida’s homeowners.
