Australians are being advised to get into the collapsed Florida market. Consulting firm Condo Vultures, based in Bal Harbour, had a data report published in an Australian real estate magazine highlighting 2.7 million square feet of condos, townhouses and single-family homes in South Florida and the average 43 percent discount of those sales in 2008. A Canadian mortgage magazine featured similar data in November 2008. Local broker Alberto Bertisch, realtor and licensed mortgage broker at Coral Shores Realty, said the bottom is expected to start rebounding soon.
