How Bank of America deals with mortgage troubles

CNBC’s Diana Olick talked to Barbara Desoer, president of Bank of America’s mortgage division, about how Bank of America deals with mortgage defaults and foreclosures. Desoer said the bank has a model that indicates when mortgage modification
is the best option for mortgage investors and when foreclosure is. Bank of America produced $45 billion in mortgages in the fourth quarter of 2008.
