Friends shocked by Kaufman murder charge

Developer Adam Kaufman and his wife Eleonora ‘Lina’ Kaufman got along well, said friends and neighbors who saw no hint of trouble between the couple. Adam Kaufman was charged with her murder Tuesday, 17 months after his wife was found dead. The second-degree murder charges he faces preclude bail. Kaufman, 36, senior vice president of Aventura’s Global Marketing Group, was still being held yesterday evening at a Broward County jail.
