Drywall law firm smells trouble

Attorney Frank Toral of the law firm Toral Garcia & Franz in Davie said his office building contains tainted Chinese drywall, the same substance the firm has been basing lawsuits on for dozens of distressed clients. It is thought to be the first appearance of non-residential use of the allegedly defective product, which is linked to foul odors, corroded wiring and health complaints. Toral and his partners discovered the problem only a couple of weeks ago, when they began realizing that the symptoms many homeowners were describing also matched some of the problems they were having in their building.
