Investors predict commercial downturn length, opportunities

Three real estate investors and executives spoke on CNBC about the troubled commercial property market and how long it will take to turn around. Real estate investor Jeff Greene; Philip Blumberg, chairman and CEO of Blumberg Capital Partners; and Robert Maguire, chairman and CEO of Maguire Investments, discussed the length of the commercial property downturn. Maguire and Greene also talked about where they think the opportunities will be in the commercial market over the next several years and whether they think potential buyers will feel so beaten up by the market that they won’t want to buy when opportunities do come along.
