Gosman to be sentenced today

Linda Gosman, once a fixture on the Palm Beach social scene, will be sentenced on federal charges of bankruptcy, mortgage and tax fraud. The 60-year-old wife of former health care executive Abe Gosman was charged with hiding assets after he went bankrupt in 2001, including failing to disclose a $66.5 million judgment against her on a mortgage application. She faces a maximum term of 38 years, but sentencing guidelines call for four years.
