Condo owners should get schooled

Condominium owners tend to get involved in their community associations after they run into problems there. While many directors have taken on responsibilities voluntarily, others come in with axes to grind, and that creates difficult governance issues. Classes offered by the Office of the Condominium Ombudsman, taught by Bill and Susan Raphan, can educate prospective or current board members on legal issues and their practical applications. The next class will be August 6, at Broward College, NorthCampus 1000 Coconut Creek Boulevard Coconut Creek. All classes at Broward College North Campus Building 47, Room 112.
