Extension for Eden denied

The Boca Raton City Council denied developer Adam Schlesinger’s request for another extension on the unfinished Eden condo project, and some of the 27 owners there want to get out. One of four towers is complete, but construction financing is no longer available and residents are stuck in the half-completed complex. Joann Williams, who paid $440,000 for her unit, said she wants a buyout and a chance to move on. Schlesinger wants to continue construction and turn the rest of the buildings into rentals.
