Wackenhut HQ on the move

Private security company Wackenhut will remain in Palm Beach County after economic development specialists helped keep its corporate headquarters in the area, but will relocate to Jupiter from Palm Beach Gardens in early 2011. The company has a 96,000-square-foot lease at 4200 Catalfumo Way in Palm Beach Gardens, but began seeking a new headquarters location this summer. Wackenhut signed a long-term agreement with Rendina Companies to build a new four-story building and move in during early 2011. [Palm Beach Post]
