More homebuyers are getting big bucks knocked off their prospective home’s asking price, according to Zillow.com. Homebuyers nabbed a median discount of 2.8 percent off the asking price of their home in the month of January, according to Zillow’s monthly report on home price discounts. New York City dwellers nabbed a 5 percent median discount, while buyers in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale region saw a median discount of 5.6 percent.
