SoBe’s Metropole drops plans for “Jersey Shore” suite

South Beach’s Metropole hotel has scrapped plans to charge $2,000 per
night for the apartment where the cast of MTV’s Jersey Shore lived while
filming in Miami Beach this spring. “Most of the people who would want
to stay in the Jersey Shore house couldn’t afford it,” said Nathan
Lieberman, whose family owns the Metropole. “It’s just business.” The
suite was made up of three combined rooms at the hotel, which were
ripped up and had their walls removed for filming. Now, each room rents
