Florida tops nation in drywall complaints

Defective Chinese drywall has been found to cause pipe corrosion

More than half of U.S. household complaints about Chinese drywall have
originated in Florida, according to a new report from the U.S. Consumer
Product Safety Commission’s drywall information center. To date, the
CPSC has received about 3,602 reports from residents in 38 states across
America who believe their health symptoms or corrosion of certain metal
components of their homes are related to the presence of Chinese
drywall. Several lawsuits have been filed in the U.S. already, including
one in Miami-Dade County. TRD
