Even with loan mods, some lose homes

Some South Florida homeowners who have successfully negotiated loan
modifications with lenders are still losing their homes to foreclosure.
In the mass of foreclosures in the region, there is a growing number of
mix-ups in which a foreclosure is not called off, even though an
agreement has been worked out. “It does appear to be happening quite a
bit,” said Debra Koprowski, director of advocacy for Coast to Coast
