San Michele a Palm Beach County hit

The San Michele neighborhood in Palm Beach Gardens is performing
particularly well in the downturn, with just six of 90 houses, or 6.7
percent, in foreclosure, according to CoreLogic. The median market value
was $748,072 last year, according to the county’s property appraiser,
which was 20.9 percent below its 2008 peak, and just 6.2 percent lower
than its 2006 median of $797,317. With 82 homes of 90 having a homestead
exemption, the community’s rate exceeds the rate of 77 percent of homes
