Some South Florida areas jump

Some areas of South Florida have seen a large price increase in home
values, with Weston leading both Broward and Palm Beach counties with a
9.3 percent increase in February 2010, according to Zillow.com. Palm
Beach Gardens performed the best in Palm Beach County, with a 6.8
percent increase to a home value index of $199,896. The index price is
the median value of all homes and condos in a particular ZIP code. Of 49
ZIP codes the company examined in Broward, just 10 showed price
increases, however. In Palm Beach County, six of 51 areas showed an
