Protest planned at Turkey Point

The proposed expansion of FPL’s Turkey Point nuclear plant in Homestead
is generating controversy, and protesters will gather to express their
opposition on Saturday at Homestead Bayfront Park, which is near the
site. The plan would see two more nuclear reactors added to the site,
which is along Biscayne Bay, but critics say it would add a host of new
