The owner of a property at South Dixie Highway and Gregory Road in West Palm Beach has a couple of issues with code enforcement that is holding up an application Walmart would make for a store there, the Palm Beach Post reported.
“[The process is] not moving relatively quickly,” said. West Palm Beach Commissioner Bill Moss.
Currently the land is designated residential, he said, so the commission would have to sign off to change the land use for Walmart and residents aren’t keen on the idea of the big-box retailer moving in.
The city’s Planning Department has committed to waiting until the environmental analysis is done,” Moss said. [Palm Beach Post]
