Six days after Bullet Line signed for 475,000 square feet at Centergate in Gratigny in Hialeah, where Miami International Freight Solutions’ headquarters had been located, the freight company has inked a high-profile lease of its own.
The South Florida Business Journal reported that in March the company will move into 190,707 square feet at Terreno Miami Lakes Distribution Center, located at 14100 NW 60th Avenue. The lease is for 7.5 years at an undisclosed cost, and comes less than four years after Miami International Freight Solutions first moved into Centergate.
The company chose the space because the landlord, San Francisco-based real estate investment trust Terreno, is commissioning a complete renovation of the industrial warehouse. Vivo Real Estate Group represented Terreno in the deal, while Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant.
Terreno, also owns a facility at 215 SE 10th Avenue where it has signed Banah International and a yet-to-be-disclosed logistics company to a total of nearly 470,000 square feet. [SFBJ]
