Miami Beach hotel sells for $8.5 million

The Cynthia condominium hotel in Miami Beach has been sold for $8.5 million, according to SBI Realty, which brokered the transaction. The 75-unit property was sold by Cynthia Realty, a limited liability company, which was represented by SBI’s Jean-Luis Delbeke, a broker associate. Northwest 36th Street Parking Corp was the buyer of the hotel, which is on a 16,724-square-foot lot just across from the Miami Beach Convention Center. The Cynthia is located at 2115 Washington Avenue. — Alexander Britell
