County music star Alan Jackson sold his beachfront mansion in Jupiter Island for $10.45 million, $5 million less than the original listing price more than a decade ago.
Jackson sold the 8,700-square-foot house nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and Intracoastal Waterway through a series of trusts, according to Gossip Extra.
The estate, at 617 South Beach Road, boasts free-standing guest quarters, a dining loggia and French doors, plus docks for up to five boats.
When in Jupiter, Jackson spent most of his time deep-sea fishing or having beers at a nearby tiki bar, the website said.
The buyer is Philadelphia businessman Bill McDermott, a director at the sports apparel company Under Armour. [Gossip Extra] — Emily Schmall
