Since forming in South Florida two years ago, Related ISG International Realty finally marked turf in Downtown Miami.

The Aventura-based company, a merger of developer Related Group and residential brokerage International Sales Group, opened a satellite office there last month, taking up about 1,000 square feet at 286 Northeast 2nd Street. The office holds 20 to 25 brokers, though some will work in multiple locations. The focus will be on buyers, sales, leasing and property management. The brokerage side handles sales for Echo Brickell, Echo Aventura, Sage Beach and the Crimson.

“People like to live close to where they work, and so we wanted to be a part of it,” Debbie Golden, managing director of sales and operations and head of the new office, told The Real Deal. Golden was the former president and owner of Aventura-based Golden & Company.

Related ISG – which also has offices in Brickell and South Beach – is looking to expand further north to Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood, “anywhere up to West Palm Beach,” Golden said. – Mark Maurer
