While he fights to save his Major League Baseball career, Alex Rodriguez is trying to unload the Miami Beach condo he purchased six months ago.
A-Rod has put the Mei unit on the market with an asking price of $3.1 million, Miami New Times reported. The embattled New York Yankees slugger paid $2.1 million for the 11th-floor condo at the Asian-themed 5875 Collins Avenue building in June. Rodriguez hired interior designer Briggs Edward Solomon to spruce up the unit before deciding to test the market.
The three-bedroom, two-bathroom condo totals 1,725 square feet. If he finds a buyer willing to pay the listed price, Rodriguez would make a 50 percent profit on his investment. [Miami New Times] — Eric Kalis
