A federal government report is giving All Aboard Florida two thumbs up.

A required Draft Environmental Impact Statement issued Friday by the Federal Railroad Administration shows that overall the private $2.5 billion All Aboard Florida project would have minimal impacts on the environment including air quality, water resources, wetlands and protected species, according to the Miami Herald.

β€œThe cumulative analysis for the project shows that the combination of the [All Aboard Florida] passenger rail project impacts with other impacts would not result in a serious deterioration of environmental functions,” the 522-page report states.
